Healthcare Assistant Opportunity in Wisbech

Optical Express, a global leader in eye care, is seeking a skilled Healthcare Assistant to join their team in Wisbech. As a Surgery Associate, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive clinical team, working across two surgical specialties: laser vision correction department (LVC) and ophthalmic (IOL) theatres.
The role involves pre-operative testing, instructing patients on eye care, updating medical records, and making follow-up appointments. You will also assist the surgeon during consent appointments and treatments, as well as undertake the role of 'HCA' in IOL theatre.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to absorb and convey technical information, and adaptability with a flexible approach to work. You will also require excellent time management skills, confidence, and professionalism.
