Job Title: Satellite AIT Electrical Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Satellite AIT Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at Line Up Aviation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and performing electrical and functional tests on various subsystems of satellites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute electrical and functional tests on satellite subsystems, including power, communication, data handling, and system control.
  • Write and execute electrical integration procedures to verify and connect equipment during spacecraft build.
  • Interpret electrical, functional, and system test requirements from test specifications.
  • Develop and debug automatic test procedures (ATPs) for satellite systems.
  • Support spacecraft system investigations and prepare test reports.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide technical inputs to test reviews and non-conformance review boards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Current hands-on experience with writing test sequences/scripts for spacecraft tests.
  • Knowledge of spacecraft subsystems and overall system, including power, communication, data handling, and system control.
  • Experience with test equipment, such as DMM, oscilloscope, current probes, and data acquisition units.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Desirable:
  • Programming and scripting languages, particularly Linux/Unix bash scripts.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as C, Java, Python, TCL, or VBA.

This is a contract position for 12 months initially, with the possibility of extension. The hourly rate is £50ph via Umbrella, inside IR35. If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the requirements, please apply immediately.
