Electrical Systems Engineer for Satellite AIT

iO Associates seeks a skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in Stevenage. As a key member of our Satellite AIT team, you will be responsible for designing and performing electrical/functional tests on spacecraft subsystems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute electrical integration procedures and Automatic Test Procedures (ATP) for spacecraft subsystems.
  • Support environmental testing (TVAC, magnetic, EMC) and provide technical inputs during test reviews.
  • Conduct spacecraft system investigations and ensure compliance with quality and security standards using DDMS.
Requirements
  • Electrical Engineering degree or 5+ years of experience in spacecraft testing with hands-on experience writing/debugging test sequences (CCS) and knowledge of C/Java.
  • Proficient in electrical measurement tools (DMM, oscilloscope, 1553 MilBus) and spacecraft subsystems (power, comms, FDIR).
  • Familiar with Satellite TMTC databases and Windows/Linux OS.
