Manufacturing Equipment Specialist

At Gap Technical Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively under pressure. You will be responsible for troubleshooting breakdowns on equipment and jigs to improve productivity, adopting lean principles to reduce waste, and creating a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first response by troubleshooting breakdowns on equipment and jigs to improve productivity.

- Utilize problem-solving tools and techniques to resolve issues related to safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
Requirements:
- GCSE level education or equivalent.
- Motivation to undertake further education in an engineering qualification.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy with PC skills in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with digital platforms.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours when required based on operational needs.
