About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at St Mary's Surgery in providing excellent pharmaceutical services. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm for patient safety, service development, and personal development, with experience in either a community pharmacy or primary care setting.

Main Responsibilities

  • Direct work with patients, including supporting safe medication use, repeat prescription reconciliations, and leading Level 1 medication reviews.
  • Liaison with Practice colleagues and partner organisations, including care homes, CCG Medicines Optimisation Teams, and local Pharmacies.
  • Supporting safe systems of working, including leading audits, communicating safety alerts, and formulary changes.
  • Supporting delivery of contract requirements, including DES contract and QOF targets.
