We are seeking a skilled and proactive Financial Operations Manager to manage our financial operations and provide valuable insights on cost-saving opportunities. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about helping businesses operate efficiently and within compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management & Bookkeeping:
- Prepare and send client invoices accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile bank statements.
- Tax Advisory & Compliance:
- Advise on tax reclaim opportunities, including director purchases and business-associated costs.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage submissions effectively.
- Generate monthly financial summaries for the management team.
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Monitor and stay up to date with tax regulations, ensuring the business adheres to all requirements.
- Support VAT returns and payroll submissions.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts management, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, especially in reclaiming business costs.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly and provide actionable insights.
- Knowledge of payroll and VAT processes is desirable but not essential.
Salary Information:
The estimated annual salary for this role is around £40,000-£50,000, depending on experience, plus competitive performance-based incentives.
