We are seeking a skilled and proactive Financial Operations Manager to manage our financial operations and provide valuable insights on cost-saving opportunities. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about helping businesses operate efficiently and within compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management & Bookkeeping:
    • Prepare and send client invoices accurately and on time.
    • Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile bank statements.
  • Tax Advisory & Compliance:
    • Advise on tax reclaim opportunities, including director purchases and business-associated costs.
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage submissions effectively.
    • Generate monthly financial summaries for the management team.
    • Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Monitor and stay up to date with tax regulations, ensuring the business adheres to all requirements.
    • Support VAT returns and payroll submissions.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounts management, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations, especially in reclaiming business costs.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly and provide actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of payroll and VAT processes is desirable but not essential.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this role is around £40,000-£50,000, depending on experience, plus competitive performance-based incentives.
