Job Overview

This role offers the opportunity to gain experience dealing with larger Payrolls and work with a professional team. The successful candidate will have a competent understanding of Star and other payroll software, as well as proven skills in computerised and manual client payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Undertake payroll processing assignments from start to finish on Star
  • Provide excellent customer service and develop client relationships
  • Act as a first point of contact for clients
  • Keep up to date with new skills and technologies
  • Effectively manage time on assignments
  • Process Payroll End of Year Returns
  • Assist with queries from clients and provide day-to-day support to colleagues
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of PAYE
  • Proven skills and experience in computerised and manual client payroll processing
  • Previous payroll software experience, preferably Star
  • A high standard of competence in processing basic payroll assignments
