About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join our team at Motorola Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our next-generation security solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cloud architecture for R&D and production environments.
  • Manage infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments, including Google Cloud Platform and AWS.
  • Adopt a security-first mindset and ensure the implementation of robust security measures.
  • Improve existing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in design and technology and suggest short and long-term solutions.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to shape our unified security solution.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate outstanding technical ability and a passion for technology.
  • Have impressive infrastructure knowledge in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Take pride in delivering high-quality work and be committed to airtight testing.
  • Be proficient in English and have excellent communication skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in an AWS FedRamp environment.
  • Cloud architecture development across Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS.
  • Bash or Go programming skills.
  • Continuous deployment mindset and experience with test-driven development.
  • Knowledge of cloud monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Continuous integration experience with tools like GitLab CI or Jenkins.
