About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to join our team at Enviva Complex Care in York. As a Sonderwell Complex Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by providing high-quality care services that cater to their complex needs.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Care Provision: Provide a range of complex care services, including tracheostomy care, ventilation care, oral suctioning, and tracheal suctioning.
  • Client Relationships: Build strong connections with clients and their families, ensuring their trust and confidence in your care.
  • Training and Development: Participate in online and classroom training to develop specific skills in complex care needs, as well as opportunities to study for relevant NVQs.

  • Competitive Salary: £16.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of your role in delivering exceptional care.

Requirements

  • Experience: Must have experience in specific complex care needs required for this role, including tracheostomy care, ventilation care, oral suctioning, and tracheal suctioning.
  • Disclosure and Barring Service Check: Subject to a submission for Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
  • UK Registration: Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
