Job Title: Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at beBee Professionals in Brentwood, United Kingdom.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged in their work, and maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring students remain on task.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies and provide feedback to the teaching staff on the progress of students.
  • Support students with their learning when necessary and assist with administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a school environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills, with the ability to adapt to different classroom environments.
  • Patience and a positive attitude toward supporting students, with flexibility to work on short notice when required.
  • A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.
