Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Provide cover for teachers during their Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across different subjects and year groups
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Experience in teaching across primary school age groups
  • Strong classroom management skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of the UK National Curriculum
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training or certification in special educational needs (SEN)
  • Experience in delivering outstanding PPA cover lessons

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with the potential for extension
  • Full-time hours with flexibility required for covering various teacher PPA schedules
  • Work within a supportive school environment
