Job Summary:

The Radiographic Assistant will assist with the running of clinics, ensuring patients flow through the clinics in an organized and efficient manner. You will also assist clinicians with procedures, ensure clinic paperwork is correctly filled in and filed, and support community breast pain services at various locations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the running of clinics, ensuring patients flow through the clinics in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Assist clinicians with procedures, such as biopsies, ultrasound, drainages, and other procedures as required.
  • Ensure clinic paperwork is correctly filled in and filed in the patient record.
  • Ensure clinic rooms are correctly stocked.
  • Support community breast pain services at various locations.
Requirements:
  • Previous acute experience or evidence of caring for others.
  • Evidence of dealing with people.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications:
  • NVQ 2/3 in Healthcare.
Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of the role and responsibilities.
  • Awareness of the Breast Care Services.
