We are looking for an experienced Senior Associate to join our highly regarded Property Damage team at a leading UK insurance law firm. As a key member of the team, you will handle complex, high-value property damage claims, policy coverage disputes, product liability, fraud cases, and subrogated recoveries.

This role offers the opportunity to lead on significant litigation, provide strategic advice, conduct advocacy, mediations, and trials. You will provide guidance on issues including fires, escapes of water, and construction failures.

The successful candidate will draft detailed legal advice, handle high-level negotiations, and manage instructions to counsel. Delivering training seminars and workshops to insurer clients, contributing to client relationships and business development, is also essential.

In return, you will receive a competitive basic salary, 25 days holiday a year, hybrid working, private medical insurance, health cash plan, and company pension.

Required Skills:
  • Qualified Solicitor / CILEx with property damage experience
  • Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise and manage a varied caseload
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Strong legal and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
