About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality meals that meet the nutritional needs of our residents.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated chef to work in a fast-paced environment, managing a team of kitchen staff and overseeing the preparation and serving of meals.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a team, creating menus, and managing budgets. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with colleagues across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals
  • Create menus that meet the nutritional needs of our residents
  • Manage budgets and inventory
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role or as a senior chef in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to lead a team and manage budgets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Degree or equivalent in culinary arts or a related field

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
