Power Architect Specialist

Job Description
Rivos is a well-funded hardware startup in Silicon Valley seeking a Junior Power-Management Architect. As a member of our team, you will contribute to designing and optimizing power management features for cutting-edge hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze power behavior of workloads on Rivos' architecture with the Performance Team.
- Define and extend power management features to optimize performance under power and current constraints.
- Collaborate with micro-architecture and design teams to bring new features to product-level quality.
- Prototype features and analyze benefits pre-silicon with simulation teams.
- Integrate heuristics into firmware code and simulation models with FW and SW teams.
- Assist in post-silicon bringup and characterization of the power-management architecture on Rivos' devices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, CE, EE, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with CPU/GPU/SoC power management architecture feature definition (power capping, thermal control, current capping, DVFS).
- Familiarity with power/performance modeling using simulators is preferred.
- Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter capable of driving tasks from start to finish.
