About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at KP Snacks. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks, including electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance, as well as building repairs and maintenance.

As a multi-skilled tradesperson, you will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills. You will be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management, and have a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance, including statutory servicing and inspections
  • Deputy responsible person for electrical, legionella, and fire systems
  • Complete compliance audits and ensure adherence to relevant regulations
  • Support the day-to-day engineering function and work collaboratively with the manufacturing team
  • Contribute to the implementation of IWS (Intersnack Working System) and support technical audits for food safety and health, safety, and environment
Requirements
  • Apprenticeship qualified or proven trade background
  • C&G Level 3 – BS2365
  • BS7671 – 18th edition
  • BS2391 – Inspection & testing
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and convert measurements
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Can reliably work alone and as part of a team
  • Able to communicate effectively
