Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Northampton Business Directory. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform reactive and planned maintenance tasks to ensure minimal downtime and optimal production levels
  • Update and introduce new stores, spares, and equipment to improve efficiency and reduce waste
  • Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of production machinery and facilities to meet health and safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to identify and resolve maintenance issues
  • Conduct shift handovers and liaise with production staff to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical or electrical engineering)
  • 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a heavy to medium manufacturing environment or with agricultural machinery
  • Ability to work safely and comply with current legislation and HSS Environmental, Health and Safety procedures
  • Right to work in the UK with relevant documents
Benefits:
