About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Master Technician Apprentice. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality maintenance and repair services to our customers.

As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work closely with our experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience and learn from their expertise.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks. You will also have the opportunity to participate in training programs and workshops to further develop your skills and knowledge.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a starting salary of £15,700 in Year 1, progressing to £25,000 in Year 4 (subject to satisfactory performance). In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including a company uniform and PPE, a brand-new stocked toolbox, and a float to pay for travel expenses for attending training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks
  • Participating in training programs and workshops
  • Working closely with experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience

Requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs at grade 4/C or Scottish National 5 Grade C or above in English, Science & Mathematics (or equivalent)
  • Enthusiasm for all aspects of engineering, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Basic knowledge of the principles of health and safety
  • Basic IT skills, including email and websites
  • Able to complete apprenticeship qualification tasks independently, managing and prioritizing own workload, working to deadlines under pressure
