Plumbing Technician

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our Estates team at Marlborough College. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out all appropriate repairs, maintenance, and improvement of the College's domestic and commercial plumbing and drainage installations.

The ideal candidate will have experience of general plumbing and a wide range of types and ages of gas and oil-fired heating systems and associated installations. Experience of operating multi-site installations using a Building Management System would be an advantage.

You will work closely with the Estates team to ensure that all plumbing and heating systems are maintained to the highest standard, and that any issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out repairs, maintenance, and improvement of plumbing and drainage installations
• Work with the Estates team to maintain and improve plumbing and heating systems
• Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standard and in accordance with good building practice and current building regulations

Requirements:

• Experience of general plumbing and heating systems
• Ability to work at height and in enclosed spaces
• Good communication and teamwork skills
