About the Role

The University System of NH is seeking a qualified Mental Health Professional to join our team at the Counseling Center. As a key member of our staff, you will provide individual and group psychological counseling and crisis response to students, consultation to faculty and staff, campus outreach and support other counseling center needs and projects as appropriate.

Job Description
  • This position provides individual and group psychological counseling and crisis response to students, consultation to faculty and staff, campus outreach and support other counseling center needs and projects as appropriate.
  • The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in counseling, psychology or related discipline, and two years of full-time licensed counseling experience in a mental health agency or counseling center.
  • A New Hampshire license or license eligible as a mental health professional is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group psychological counseling and crisis response to students.
  • Consult with faculty and staff regarding psychological issues that may impact student well-being.
  • Participate in emergency on-call rotation and be available for after-hours consultations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement programs and services that promote student success and well-being.
  • Supervise practicum and internship students under their clinical licensure and provide training and support as needed.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $63,000 - $72,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, retirement, tuition, and paid time off.
