We are seeking a skilled Traffic Management Operative to join our team in Exeter. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of road closures and traffic flow.

Salary & Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £13 per hour, with overtime rates applying at 150% after 40 hours Monday to Friday, nights, and Saturdays. You will also benefit from accrued holiday pay from day one, pension contributions (after a qualifying period), weekly pay, and no umbrella payments or fees.

Key Responsibilities

">

Your primary responsibilities will include setting up temporary traffic lights, manning road closures, and using a stop/go board. You will work as part of a team to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and within the required timeframe.

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to work as part of a team, and have good timekeeping skills. A Lantra M1/2 qualification is essential, with an M5 qualification being desirable. A CSCS card is preferred, and a driving license is also advantageous.

Working Hours

">

You will work Monday to Friday, days or nights, with flexibility to undertake some shifts outside of normal working hours. This is a temporary role, but it has the potential to become permanent after 3 months.
