Consultant Psychiatrist Early Intervention

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the Early Intervention service at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with mental health conditions. They will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, and provide education and training to staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide education and training to staff on mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to mental health care.
- Participate in service and business planning activities to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management.
- Approved clinician status or ability to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
- Approved under S12 or ability to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
- In good standing with GMC with respect to warnings and conditions on practice.
