**Job Overview**

At Uhmb, we are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-looking rheumatologist to join our team.

This substantive post offers an exciting opportunity to work in Morecambe Bay and contribute to the ongoing development of rheumatology services for the local population across the Bay.

The ideal candidate will have experience in rheumatology, hold or be within 6 months of obtaining certification from the General Medical Council (CCT), and demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence within the service.

This is a replacement post with no GIM commitment, offering the flexibility to work full-time or part-time.

We welcome applications from clinicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our department.

The successful candidate will be required to provide specialist out-patient opinion and case management, participate in training and educational activities, and maintain clinical excellence within the service.

We offer a competitive salary range of £105,504 - £139,882 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.

For this role, we require the following skills and qualifications:

  • MBBS and MRCP, or equivalent.
  • Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice.
  • Entry on Specialist Register or in receipt of CCT within six months of interview.
