About the Role:
The Duty Manager is a key position within the Oscars Group, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage venues. As a natural leader with strong communication skills, you will oversee the daily operations of the bar, kitchen, and gaming areas, managing staff and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels
- Ensure compliance with regulations and venue operations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Manage payments, cash handling, and reporting
- Handle guest feedback and complaints in a professional and proactive manner
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Valid RSA and RCG certificates
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of customers
- Strong product knowledge in craft beer, wine, and spirits
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings
