Job Title:

Trainee Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

Kite Packaging is seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our national team of Field Sales superstars as a Trainee Business Development Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to identify sales opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Requirements:
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, such as hospitality, retail, customer services, or sales.
  • Ability to operate out of our local Kite Regional Distribution Centre.
  • Full UK driver's license.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive basic salary of £27,000, rising to £30,000 and £33,000 within 24 months based on generated sales.
  • Company car or car allowance (£8,400).
  • Uncapped sales bonus (£3,000+ bonus subject to performance).
  • Company laptop and mobile.
  • 28 days paid annual leave (including bank holidays), rising to 33 after 5 years' service.
  • Range of benefits, including life insurance, pension, and optional healthcare scheme, after 6 months.
