**Job Overview**

The University of Cambridge is seeking a talented Mathematical-AI-Researcher to join our team at the Infosys-Cambridge AI Lab. This role will involve developing and conducting individual and collaborative research in the areas of agentic AI, theoretical machine learning, symbolic AI, and simulation-based approaches.

**What We Offer**

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as generous travel allowances and computing expenses. Our contract with Infosys is initially for a three-year period, with funds paid annually.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • To develop and conduct individual and collaborative research within one or more of the themes listed above
  • To identify and pursue synergies in an interdisciplinary context
  • To communicate material of a technical nature beyond your immediate scientific field

**Requirements**

Applicants should have a completed (or near completed) PhD in physics, machine learning, applied mathematics, or related fields. You must be able to work effectively in a team environment and have excellent communication skills.
