About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Blom and Blom. As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of our independent children's day nursery in Burgess Hill.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery
  • Promote a safe, caring, and stimulating educational environment for our children
  • Supervise and support the development of our staff team
  • Assist with training and appraisals to ensure staff are equipped to provide high-quality care and education

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and regulations
  • Confidence in leading and supporting a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
