We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Workplace Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team at GSMA. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our workplaces are safe, efficient, and conducive to innovation.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our office environment, including health and safety protocols, supply management, and maintenance coordination.
  • Collaborate closely with building teams and external partners to ensure seamless workspace functionality.
  • Conduct regular health and safety audits, training sessions, and implement best practices to maintain a secure and compliant workplace.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to colleagues and visitors, addressing their needs promptly and efficiently.
  • Support the Service Desk team by resolving workplace-related inquiries and coordinating with relevant departments.
  • Manage meeting room bookings, collaborate space setup, and ensure a smooth workflow for events and gatherings.
  • Streamline onboarding and offboarding processes, including office supply procurement and equipment management.
  • Supervise contractors to minimize disruption and ensure projects are completed effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, activities, and documentation related to the workplace.
  • Liaise with landlords and external providers to ensure timely service delivery and contract compliance.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by fostering open communication and teamwork.
Your Qualifications:
  • Possess an IOSH qualification or be actively pursuing a NEBOSH certification.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Have proven experience in optimizing workplace processes and implementing efficient solutions.
  • Exhibit a proactive and flexible approach to work, adapting to changing priorities effectively.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving abilities and a willingness to identify innovative solutions.
  • Be proficient in IT systems and demonstrate a commitment to sustainability practices.
