AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Director to lead our Water Sector team. As a key member of our Infrastructure team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our cities and environments.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead technical delivery and safety across multiple projects and programmes, ensuring high-quality outcomes and acting as a point of escalation for complex technical matters.
  2. Set the technical strategic direction for projects and bid proposals, leveraging your subject-matter expertise to drive innovation and excellence.
  3. Develop and implement technical excellence and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring quality assurance standards are met in design.
  4. Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions, driving business growth and client satisfaction.
  5. Grow and develop water engineering capability within the practice, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.
  6. Establish yourself as a strategic partner for our clients, providing expert guidance and support in your technical field.
What We're Looking For:
  1. A Chartered Engineer with a strong track record of technical leadership and innovation.
  2. Proven experience in multi-disciplinary integration and coordination, with a deep understanding of water and/or wastewater treatment, hydraulics, storage, supply, and collection systems.
  3. Nationally or internationally recognized subject-matter expertise in your discipline(s), with a strategic and transformational mindset.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
