Management Accountant

PPG Industries, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in providing financial support and analysis to drive business growth and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the business commercial and marketing teams with financial analysis and insights
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions
  • Coordinate the monthly closing process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Manage the weekly forecasting process and work closely with stakeholders to ensure changes are reflected appropriately
  • Administer the capital approval process and review accrual and prepayment processes for retail stores
  • Provide strong variance analysis of P&L and work closely with business leaders to ensure financial results reflect in the financial statements
  • Develop Investment Appraisal submissions for Decorating Centre openings, relocations, and refurbishments
  • Provide ad hoc analysis as required by sales management, including customer profitability, margin analysis, and contract analysis
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree and recognized professional accountancy qualification such as CIMA / ACCA / ACA, or in final stages of qualification
  • Positive attitude to work and ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships
  • Ambitious team player with a desire to learn and grow
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, with a strong focus on Excel
