Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of our speech and language therapy services, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of speech and language therapists, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our speech and language therapy service, ensuring it is aligned with our organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise to our team, ensuring that our services are delivered to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with our stakeholders, including patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure that our services meet their needs.
- Registered member of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
- Specialist clinical training to Masters level.
- Significant management experience, including staff management and leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
