Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and implementation of electronic hardware designs, including schematics and layout
  • Work alongside subject matter experts to assess and select electronic components that meet product needs
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, planning, and design meetings
  • Contribute to technical solutions as part of a multi-disciplined team
  • Provide support to product development activities and fault diagnostics to assist in product improvements
  • Develop an appreciation and experience in all areas of the product lifecycle, from requirements to testing
  • Investigate emerging technologies and opportunities for innovation
  • Contribute to STEM outreach activities and events

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2:1 degree in a relevant subject, such as Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Familiarity with the principles of electronic design and experience in one or more of the following areas: digital and analogue electronic circuit design, simulation, implementation, and verification, high-speed digital design, design of multi-layer PCBs, PCB layout, RF design, and technical documentation
  • Ability to quickly learn innovative technologies and apply a systematic and methodical approach to debugging and resolving technical issues
  • Ability to work individually or as a member of a multi-disciplined team, self-motivated, and willing to embrace new technologies and techniques
  • Good time management and ownership of own deliverables, good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and ability to contribute to improvements in products and ways of working
