Senior Electronic Design Engineer

Up to £80,000

Are you passionate about solving complex technical challenges and driving innovation in cybersecurity and encryption? We're seeking an experienced Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join a thriving, collaborative team creating cutting-edge technology in the security sector.

As a hands-on contributor, you'll play a key role in designing and developing advanced electronic solutions, using your expertise in RF and PCB design. This position offers a chance to work on impactful projects while mentoring junior engineers and helping shape the future of a growing team.

PLEASE NOTE: This role requires the ability to obtain UK security clearance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing and verifying digital and analogue electronic systems for high-stakes security applications.
  • Developing high-speed PCB designs with FPGAs and processors using tools like Altium Designer.
  • Bringing products to life, from concept through to production, ensuring reliability and manufacturability.
  • Contributing to RF design, including Wi-Fi, NFC, and cellular technologies.
  • Collaborating in a multidisciplinary engineering environment to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and potentially managing a growing team.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Expertise in electronic schematic design, simulation, and verification.
  • Proven experience in high-speed PCB design for complex systems.
  • Familiarity with Altium Designer or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of cryptography and security-focused applications.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
