Clinical Psychologist in Paediatric Psychology

We are seeking a highly motivated and committed Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric Psychology Team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with children and young people with complex health needs, providing psychological assessment and interventions in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The team is part of the Leicester Children's Hospital, which provides specialist care to children and young people with a range of health needs. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will work closely with medical and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
The role offers opportunities for professional development, including training in evidence-based models such as EMDR and ACT for Physical Health. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the team's practice and to participate in quality improvement activities.

About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological assessment and interventions to children and young people with complex health needs. This will involve working closely with medical and allied health professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
You will also be responsible for contributing to the development of the team's practice, including the development of new services and programs. Additionally, you will participate in quality improvement activities to ensure that our services are delivered to the highest standards.
