Job Title: Shunter

At Shorterm Group, we are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Shunter. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe movement of rail vehicles in and out of our Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of all movements of moving rail vehicles in and out of the Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre
Provide light maintenance activities associated with the storage of vehicles as directed by the Operations Manager
Conduct daily checks of the stored fleet and report any defects and/or damage
Support the movement of assets around the site on behalf of customers and tenants
Complete associated documentation in respect of the laid-down processes and procedures on site

Requirements:
GCSE in English and Maths is required
Competent in some form of professional driving
Competent in forklift truck operation and crane operations
Must have a driving licence for motor vehicles
