Residential Concierge Team Member

About the JobWe are seeking a highly organized and experienced Residential Concierge Team Member to join our team at Abbatt Property Recruitment. As a key member of our estate management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our residential sites.
In this role, you will work closely with our security team to ensure the site is secure and well-maintained. You will also assist with daily administration tasks, including logging mail and deliveries, distributing keys, and maintaining accurate records.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manning the reception desk during agreed hours;
- Providing and facilitating required services to residents as per the instructions of the managing agent;
- Responding proactively to resident or other requests in a timely and polite manner;
- Communicating effectively with residents, guests, other members of staff, and contractors;
- Welcoming residents and guests;
- Answering the telephone and dealing with general enquiries, logging messages, and following up on requests & events;
- Receiving, logging, and distributing mail/other deliveries to individual properties;
- Oversight of the cleanliness and comfort of the reception areas and associated common parts;
- Conducting regular patrols of the residential site to deter and detect any suspicious activities or potential security breaches;
- Monitoring and controlling access to the premises, verifying the identity of residents, visitors, and service personnel to maintain a secure and welcoming environment;
- Utilizing surveillance systems effectively to monitor the premises and respond promptly to any unusual incidents or security concerns;
- Being prepared to respond swiftly and efficiently to emergencies, accidents, or medical incidents, ensuring proper protocols are followed;
- Providing a high level of customer service and acting as a courteous concierge when interacting with residents, visitors, and vendors;
- Accurately documenting all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift and providing detailed reports to the management team;
- Familiarizing yourself with fire safety procedures and being ready to initiate emergency evacuations when required;
- Conducting regular risk assessments of the premises and suggesting security enhancements or improvements to prevent potential vulnerabilities;
- Working collaboratively with other security team members and communicating effectively with other on-site personnel;
- Ensuring strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and security regulations.
