Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide high-quality advice and support to our team on a temporary basis. This is an office-based role working Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing all aspects of the employee life cycle, including onboarding, performance management, and off-boarding
  • Providing HR guidance and support to management where necessary
  • Developing, implementing, and improving HR policies and procedures that comply with UK legal requirements
  • Supporting the full recruitment process, including job descriptions, adverts, and interviews
  • Managing contractual paperwork, including offer letters and contracts of employment
  • Maintaining employee records and updating HR systems
  • Administering employee payroll and absence management
  • Managing investigations and complex employee relations issues, including redundancy and grievance
  • Monitoring and developing performance appraisal systems

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in HR at Manager/Advisor level
  • Level 3 CIPD qualification essential
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment law and HR best practices
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and remain calm under pressure

Please note that security vetting is a requirement for all roles at Reed, and any offers of employment are made subject to obtaining and maintaining the necessary security clearance. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and will be required to provide proof of 5 years' UK residency.
