We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, linked to competency and qualifications, plus a £0 welcome bonus.



Job Description



We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Child Care Specialist to join our team at Meldreth Manor. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to achieve their goals and develop new skills.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Providing exceptional care and support to residents during daily activities, including washing, dressing, socialising, learning, and personal care.
  • Assisting with therapy sessions, such as hydrotherapy and rebound therapy, to promote physical and emotional well-being.
  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to create a safe and supportive environment.
  • Developing and implementing individualised care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to regular reviews to ensure the highest standards of care.


Required Skills and Qualifications:



To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a patient and empathetic nature, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
