Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Supervisor at the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.
This role will involve managing the day-to-day housekeeping and linen services across a day working week, supporting and underpinning the patient's experience and journey on multiple levels.
Main Duties of the Job
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team of cleaning staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
- Conduct regular cleaning audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules to meet the needs of the service.
- Ensure compliance with national cleaning standards and local policies and procedures.
- Provide induction training and ongoing assessments of staff input and output.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a cleaning environment, be able to demonstrate a proven track record in supervising staff, and have a Food Hygiene Level certificate.
They will also be able to confidently use a PC to carry out regular cleaning audits, risk assessments, and other administrative tasks.
