We are seeking a seasoned Air Freight Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in our London-based client's logistics services.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong existing client base, excellent sales skills, and the ability to develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share in Air, Road, and Sea Freight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain key accounts for Air Imports/Exports, with opportunities to pick up Road Freight and Sea Freight business.
- Implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share in Air, Road, and Sea Freight.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, industry events, cold calling, online research, and overseas conferences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Upsell additional services and cross-sell other modes of freight to existing clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in a Freight Forwarder.
- Air Freight client base preferred.
- Full driving license required.
- Regular commuting to Luton (Head office) may be necessary.
Benefits:
Competitive salary range: £40,000 - £70,000, plus commission, company car allowance, mobile phone, and laptop.
