We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a highly committed and passionate Key Stage 2 teacher to join our vibrant and fun primary school in Southwark. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering quality teaching to key stage 2 classes, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, experience teaching Key stage 2, and the confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities, as well as the ability to teach a fun-loving Year 3 class, are required for this position.

The children are hardworking, caring, inquisitive and imaginative, and the staff here aspire to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment. As a result, we are seeking a primary teacher who knows how to drive attainment and create engaging lessons.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching primary school students, ideally in KS2
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Good behaviour management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Enhanced DBS check and professional references
