Job Description

This Nuclear Programme Manager role is an exciting opportunity to join a team of nuclear specialists who work collaboratively and innovatively to transform ground-breaking nuclear projects. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting risk management within a local SZC programme or similar, and assisting with compliance with SZC's PMO risk management direction.

You will demonstrate your ability to independently engage with a range of project and corporate professionals, and possess hands-on experience of leading software packages (Oracle P6/Microsoft Project or similar planning tools). Membership of one or more risk or project management organisation is desirable.

Your Key Strengths:

  • Strong experience in Project Controls & Risk Management, including a proven track record in risk management within a local SZC programme or similar.
  • Excellent numerical and verbal communication skills, as well as hands-on experience of leading software packages (Oracle P6/Microsoft Project or similar planning tools).

About the Location

Working on a nuclear licensed site, you will be exposed to various risks and hazards, including radiation, chemicals and gases, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high-pressure circuits, steam, high noise and vibration levels. You must be aware of these risks and take necessary precautions to ensure a safe working environment.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, alongside a wide range of benefits including 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays), free single medical cover and GP service, family-friendly benefits such as enhanced parental leave pay, plus many more.
