Job Summary

Advanced Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with Adult Learning Disabilities and Complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with challenging behavior and complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, including personal care and medication management
  • Assist with behavioral support and de-escalation techniques
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Valid DBS check (preferably registered with the online service checker)
  • Care qualification or Care Certificate and a minimum of 6 months UK-based care experience
  • Ability to work full-time hours across a mix of shift patterns, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Ability to provide references covering the last 5 years
  • Up-to-date Mandatory Care Training or willingness to complete prior to placement
