Job Title: Breakfast Club and After School Club Playworker

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Breakfast Club and After School Club Playworker. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities and games for children aged 4-11
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Monitor and record children's progress and development
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to childcare and education
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient service

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in childcare and education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of child development and learning theories
  • First aid and child protection training
