Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to lead our Palliative Care Team. As a registered Children's Nurse with expertise in Oncology, Complex Care, and Palliative Care, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating services, while participating in direct patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for delivering high-quality care, and experience in managing and developing services. You will work closely with other providers across Kent and as part of CHaL (Children's Hospices across London) in designing services that provide the highest standard of care and support.

About the Role

As the Clinical Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage the Palliative Care Team, ensuring seamless delivery of care
  • Develop and implement innovative care strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support, participating in direct patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A First Level Registered Children's Nurse qualification with current NMC registration
  • A degree in palliative care or a relevant clinical speciality
  • Teaching/mentorship qualifications
  • Advanced Communication Skills certificate or willingness to undertake
  • Administration of intravenous medications qualification, preferably with experience in the use of Central venous Access Devices (CVADs)
