We are seeking a highly skilled Aftersales Service Engineer to join our team at Ward Recycling. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mobile and fixed recycling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and maintain a robust PPM schedule for mobile and fixed recycling equipment
- Provide technical support for reactive maintenance and fault finding
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure effective equipment maintenance and repair
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our equipment and its operation
- Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure seamless equipment operation
- Proven experience in hydraulic and electrical fault finding and repair
- Wide range of experience in the fault finding and diagnosis of mobile plant equipment
- Full UK driving license
- Welding experience (MIG/ARC) and burning/cutting with propane/oxygen advantageous
- Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
- Conscientious, organised and driven with good communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge for updating the maintenance scheme upon tasks completed
- Experience of a manufacturing/processing environment
- Time served with relevant plant operation certificates
- Diverse role with the opportunity to develop your skills and experience
- Ability to work on your own initiative and be part of a busy team
- Any hours over 40 per week are paid at an enhanced rate
