Mondrian Alpha, a leading hedge fund headquartered in London, is seeking a skilled Senior Quantitative Software Developer to join their Trading Technology team.

As a member of the team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and extending the applications necessary for the hedge fund's trading operations. This includes collaborating closely with traders to understand requirements and provide technical support for trading tools, developing and maintaining back-end services critical for trading operations, and extending and optimizing trading applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with Traders: Work closely with traders to understand their requirements and provide technical support for trading tools.
  • Back-end Services Development: Develop and maintain back-end services critical for trading operations, including risk-related services and access to markets.
  • Trading Applications Optimization: Extend and optimize trading applications, with a focus on real-time data processing and display.
  • Trading Infrastructure Refinement: Contribute to the continuous refinement and adjustment of trading infrastructure to adapt to changing market conditions.
  • CICD Pipeline Participation: Participate in a fully automated CI/CD pipeline and clustered, containerized setup leveraging Kubernetes.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in trading or financial services.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in C++ and Python, with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Cloud and DevOps Experience: Experience with Kubernetes, containerized environments, and Azure-based processes.
  • DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
