Family Social Work Lead

Job Description
As a Family Social Work Lead, you will play a crucial role in our family safeguarding service in Somerset. You will work alongside adult-focused practitioners to develop assessments and plans, focusing on specialist areas such as substance misuse, domestic abuse, and mental health.
Your primary responsibility will be to undertake direct work with children and young people to hear their voice and understand their experiences. You will also work with parents and the wider family network to support them in identifying strengths and changing behaviors.
In this role, you will need to be passionate about relationship-based social work and proud of your profession. You should be able to reflect creatively on how to build relationships that make a positive impact on children and families.
