About the Role:

  • Assist with patient admission process and ensure smooth transition of care.
  • Perform post-operative dressings and monitor patients' conditions following competency checks.
  • Chaperone patients during medical procedures and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Accurately record and process charges in a timely manner to ensure efficient financial management.
  • Support minor procedures, such as ENT, dermatology, and podiatry, under the supervision of experienced consultants.
  • Maintain patient rooms and clinical areas, ensuring they are organized and welcoming for patients, consultants, and visitors.

Requirements:

  • Hold an NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, with a strong understanding of customer care principles.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and patients.
  • Demonstrate IT proficiency and adaptability in using various systems and software.
  • Possess minimum 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or caring environment, preferably within private healthcare.
  • Show enthusiasm, commitment, and flexibility to meet the demands of the role, while maintaining a high level of physical fitness and sensitivity towards patient and consultant needs.
