About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Support Professional to join our team at Shorefields, supporting students with severe, profound, and complex learning difficulties. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in promoting the well-being and quality of life for our pupils.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in raising standards of student outcomes by providing support and guidance.
  • Attend to the personal care needs of pupils, including toileting, catheterization, hygiene needs, dressing, and feeding.
  • Manage and support the medical needs of pupils, such as administering emergency medicine and managing episodes of epilepsy.
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents, and carers.
